Romaine Lettuce (any amount desired)

Carrots (optional, recommended if not using pre-made salad dressing)

Tomatoes

Cucumbers

Red Onion

Parmesan Cheese

Fresh Herbs – Basil or cilantro work best

Dill (optional)

Salad dressing of your choice

On the first day, prepare the lettuce by cutting up all of the ingredients except for the cucumbers. Combine in a bowl with vinegar and oil for desired taste. Toss until combined.

On the second day, prepare the tomatoes by cutting them into wedges and mixing the wedges into the salad, add parmesan cheese and toss once more to combine.

On the third day, prepare the cucumbers by cutting them in circles and mixing with onion and herbs until combined. Toss once more to combine.

On the fourth day, prepare the red onion by peeling it and thinly slicing it into rings. Mix in with cucumbers until combined. Toss once more to combine.

On the fifth day, prepare the carrots by cutting them in thin circles using a cheese slicer or sharp knife. Combine with the other ingredients and dress to taste.

On the sixth day, prepare the dill by picking the leaves off of the stem and mixing in with other ingredients until combined. Add the desired amount of dressing and toss to combine.

The seventh day is a “clean out your fridge” day because any leftover veggies can be thrown into this salad!

For all remaining days: Make sure your salad ingredients are dry! This is KEY for maintaining freshness. Add the desired amount of dressing and toss to combine.

This salad diet is very healthy but you should still drink lots of water throughout the day! The 7-day salad diet is one way you can maintain a healthy lifestyle in order to achieve optimal performance in all aspects of life!
