  • Vegan Chicken
  • Poultry Seasoning
  • Cucumber
  • Bell Pepper
  • Peanuts
  • Sugar Snap Peas
  • Carrots
  • Garlic
  • Ketzap Manis
  • Scallions
  • Lemon juice
  • Mint
  • Chillis

How To Make Cold Pasta Salad?

Start marinating the veggies along with the ketjap manis, lemon juice, garlic, chillies and whisk everything together in a bowl. Add half of the marinade sauce and the prepared peanut sauce in a bottle and marinade for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile combine the vegetables and the cooked pasta in another large bowl and season with salt and pepper. Heat some sesame oil in a skillet. Fry the vegan chicken for around 5 minutes and let it cool down. Finally add the chicken and the remaining dressing and sauce in your salad bowl and add mint and peanuts and mix well. Your salad is ready

  • Try and prepare the marinade before and have it ready
  • If you keep the marinate overnight the flavours infuse properly in the salad. 
  • Keep the vegan chicken fried ahead so that you don’t need to wait for it to cool down. 
  • Make sure you do not over cook the pasta. Cook it until it is tender. This ensures that the dressing doesn’t get gummy. Rinse the pasta after boiling so that it doesn’t get sticky. The extra starch is washed off.
  • Chop the vegetables into very small pieces so that when you take a bite, you get a bit of almost everything.
