You have to be able to choose the right dressing if you want your spinach salad recipe to be a success. For starters, it should be able to cover all the ingredients for a tasty yet healthy treat. To get started, you need to take out your blender. Use it to chop up the ingredients for your spinach salad recipe. In this case, you will mainly be using eggs and mayonnaise. You can also opt to add water or milk instead of cream if you do not like the heavy taste of mayonnaise.

When it comes to dressing, you have several options. One of the best is to go with a light dressing. For instance, you can make ahead ingredients just before you place them on top of your salads. For this, all you need is about two tablespoons of light corn starch, one tablespoon of lemon juice, one egg, and a couple of tablespoons of low fat milk. Mix all these ingredients together, heat the mixture, and then run a blender through it. You will end up with a thick, smooth dressing that you can use to spice up your vegetables.

Solid Sugar Free Dressings

Another easy healthy salad dressing is to use sugar-free dressings. These dressings can be bought at your local grocery store or online. They are easy to find, especially if you shop at grocery stores that cater to health-conscious individuals. These recipes usually call for balsamic vinegar, so you should be sure to have plenty of it on hand. All you have to do is boil the vinegar and then let it cool.

If you have fresh tomatoes in your fridge, you can easily make a creamy dressing out of them. To do this, simply remove the seeds from a fresh tomato and press this against the bottom and side of a plastic bag. After it has completely set, tear off the seeds and then pour the olive oil over the tomatoes. Then, close the bag and refrigerate it. It can be stored in the fridge for up to a week. This creamy dressing is very good when mixed with shredded sharp cheddar cheese.

Main Salad Types

A spinach salad can also be made quick and easy. In fact, this can even be done while you are at work. All you need is about a half a cup of either low-fat mayonnaise, a cup of skim milk, three tablespoons each of reduced-fat cultured cream cheese and chopped, cooked spinach. Mix these ingredients together and then apply them to your salad. You will end up with a light but still substantial dinner.

There are other salad dressing recipes that do not call for real ingredients. These are usually very tasty though. If you don’t have a problem with artificial additives and preservatives, you might want to try some of these. For example, if you’re in the mood for something hot, you might want to try chili-garlic paste, which has a smoky flavor that is often excellent on grilled fish or chicken.

If you are trying a sugar salad dressing recipe, you might also enjoy creating a garlic powder dressing. Garlic powder is very high in antioxidants, which means that you are keeping your body healthy and free of disease-causing free radicals. Of course, there is no reason to let go of the taste of garlic, so feel free to include this ingredient as a garnish. You will want to place about a teaspoonful of garlic powder in the bottom of your mixing bowl. You will then take about a tablespoon of lemon juice and pour it into your mixing bowl with your garlic powder.
