Body

The body of a salad is the most important step in making a green salad. It is the focal point in making any kind of salad. For preparing the body of a salad, you need fresh vegetables like lettuce, spring onion, cherry tomatoes, broccoli, cabbage, carrot, peas, beetroot, cucumber, spinach, etc. Similarly, you can add some fresh fruits like green apples, avocados, pineapples, etc. Most Importantly, these ingredients should be garden-fresh and freshly chopped. Dressing

Another important component of a salad is the dressing. It moistens and flavors the salad. It helps to reduce the bitterness of some leaves and raw veggies. Usually, the dressing consists of lemon, virgin olive oil, mayonnaise, vinaigrette, mustard cream, etc. You can also add herbs like basil, parsley, and thyme to prepare a dressing.
