How To Make Appetizing And Healthy Lettuce Salad

When it comes to Salads, what comes to the mind first is the word “Boring”. Right? But, wait! If you think that salads are not mouth-watering. Then you must try this exclusive recipe of Lettuce Salad and we bet that you’re going to love it.

Lettuce Salad is not only a healthy option to add in to your diet, but at the same time is mouth-watering too and doesn’t consume much time in the preparation.

For the Preparation-

Lettuce- 100 gms

Cherry Tomatoes- ½ cups

Cucumber- 1

Onion- ¼ cup

Cilantro (Coriander)- ¼ cup

For dressing-

Olive Oil- 1 tbsp

Lemon Juice- 1 tbsp

Salt- As per taste

Pepper- As per taste

Minced Garlic- 1 tbsp

Cheese- 20 gms

Recipe:

Preparation

Take 100 gms of Lettuce. Wash it thoroughly and chop it finely into pieces using a chopping board. Do not over-chop it, just cut it down into two or maximum three pieces.

Take ½ cups of cherry tomatoes. Slice them into two pieces. If you do not have cherry tomatoes, you can use the regular ones, just chop them into finer pieces, a big one will be enough for the entire recipe.

Take one cucumber and ¼ cup of onions. Chop them nicely into smaller pieces. Take ¼ cup Cilantro (coriander) and chop it nicely into tiny pieces.

Put everything together

Take out a large bowl. Add all the chopped ingredients to it including the chopped lettuce, cucumber as well as the sliced tomatoes. Now, add the sliced pieces of onion and the finely chopped Cilantro to the mixture.

Time for Dressing

Take an empty container or bottle with a lid. Add 1 tbsp olive oil to it. Now, take a lemon and squeeze out one tbsp juice from it and add it to the mixture. Sprinkle salt on this mixture ( as per taste and preferences).

Add crushed pepper to the container ( preferably one small tbsp, rest depends on your preferences). Now, add 1 tbsp minced garlic to it. Shake the container to mix everything well.

Sprinkle this mixture evenly on the bowl containing all the chopped veggies. Give it a good mix. Add the grated cheese to it. Again mix everything thoroughly. And your Lettuce Salad is almost ready.

Ready To Serve

Take out a nice tray, spread the Lettuce Salad evenly over it, add some more grated cheese and finely chopped cilantro to it.
